I have over 35yrs of practical firearms handling experience at your disposal. All courses are NCDOJ and NRA approved. I have a commonsense approach to firearms handling that eliminates training scars and optimizes practical application. This equates to life-saving tactics you can and will use in everyday situations.
High-Quality Equipment
Anyone can go "plink" at tin cans. In this current environment of limited resources I understand the value of every shot down range. Before I even put a live firearm in your hands I will have you learning all the foundational skills on laser systems and non-lethal firearm trainers. These highly effective training-aids maximize available range time and minimize waste of valuable resources.

PB&J Tactics is dedicated to responsible gun ownership. Each of us is a steward of the firearms community and that comes with an understood mandate to learn our craft, our equipment and master how it is both morally and lawfully used in our society whether in sport or self-defense. I will teach you the effective and practical tactics for responsible firearms handling in a safe and supportive environment. This 2-day course exceeds all the NC DOJ minimal standards for Concealed Carry Training. I will clarify the use of Deadly Force; help you understand the do's and don'ts of concealed carry and give you an understanding of what to expect if you find yourself in a self-defense situation. I will introduce safe and effective firearms handling principals and tactics that will prepare you for firearms handling at home, at the range, and wherever your day may take you.

How would you defend your home from a home invasion? Is your home safe? What would you do if you thought there was an intruder in your home? I can evaluate your home make recommendations and assist you in establishing emergency plans. I can teach you defensive tactics that will keep you and your family safe.

Do you need some personalized instruction to prepare you for your CCH certification? Maybe you just need some refresher training to regain your proficiency. I can tailor training to any ability level or goal, from basic firearms safety to advanced carry and tactics training, in handgun, rifle, or shotgun.

So, you have your concealed carry permit, Congratulations. Maybe you took a great class, like mine, that set a solid foundation of skills or maybe you just got the bare minimum. In any event you want more. You want to develop your Situational Awareness and take your carry skills to the next level. Do you know how to read a room? How do you carry and shoot in winter clothing? How do you engage a threat from inside your vehicle, under your car, around corners or other obstacles? Come take this intensive multi-day advanced training opportunity. Exercise tactics and gain practical experience thinking through everyday situations. You will use state of the art training tools to safely build personal tactics and plans that could save your life or that of loved ones.

Host a Firearms Training Event of Your Own.
Gather some family and friends or coworkers and neighbors with a common firearms interest and host your very own private training event. I will bring the training to you on your schedule. I will design a unique training event that meets your specific needs and do it in the comfort of your home open only to those you invite. And best of all if you host it you attend for free*. Share this discount with the others or keep it for yourself. All non-firearms training will be held at your location with any applicable live firearms training conducted at my private range facility.
